Rufus has been a key contributor to the Frank team since 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce Bachelor of Commerce from Victoria University, majoring in Accounting and Commerical Law, which laid a solid foundation for his professional journey.
Following his graduation, Rufus embarked on a career in account management, a role that afforded him the opportunity to live and work in Melbourne. His time in Australia enriched his professional expertise and broadened his perspectives on international business practices.
Upon returning to New Zealand, Rufus and his family settled in the Waikato, where he transitioned into the insurance sector, leveraging his accounting and legal knowledge. His exceptional performance and dedication to client success led to him being awarded the NZbrokers Jim Harris scholarship, valued at $16,000 and covering the costs of attending the Institute for Strategic Leadership’s Step Up Programme in Queenstown. In addition, Rufus was appointed as a Frank Risk shareholder in 2024, reflecting his integral role in the firm’s growth and strategic direction.
Outside of his professional endeavours, Rufus is known for his community involvement and dedication to continuous learning, embodying the values of integrity and excellence that define our business.
