Emma Haugh

GENERAL MANAGER & director

Emma brings over two decades of experience in the insurance industry. Originally from the Bay of Islands, she relocated to Hamilton in 2000 to study and began her insurance career in 2002 as a Claims Manager for a leading New Zealand fire and general insurer. After gaining valuable international experience in England, particularly in recruitment, she returned to New Zealand, taking on roles in Broking, Relationship Management, Underwriting and Business Development before joining Frank Risk Management in 2016.

Emma brought a wealth of industry experience and operational expertise to Frank. She now oversees day-to-day operations, managing staff across multiple branches and ensuring the business runs smoothly and effectively.

In 2024, Emma earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA), with distinction, from the University of Waikato, balancing her full-time professional responsibilities and family commitments. This accomplishment underscores her dedication to continuous improvement, professional growth and a drive to excel. Not only did it enhance her own capabilities, but it also set a strong example for our team, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. Emma has also completed the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services, further solidifying her knowledge in the industry.

In recognition of her leadership contributions to the industry, Emma was named one of the Insurance Business Best Female Insurance Leaders in New Zealand, receiving the Elite Women award in 2023.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Emma is an active community member. She contributes to the Waihi Beach Surf Lifesaving Club as a patrol support and surf official, regularly donates blood, and enjoys outdoor activities with her family.
